Q1. Which vehicles are compatible with your custom steering wheels?
We design custom steering wheels for a wide range of high-performance and luxury vehicles, including renowned brands such as BMW, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, McLaren, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and many others. All of our steering wheels are designed to maintain compatibility with the vehicle's original systems, including airbags, cruise control, and driver assistance systems.
Q2. Can I fully customize my steering wheel?
Absolutely! We offer full customization, allowing you to choose from standard or forged carbon fiber, various finishes (matte, gloss, translucent), Alcantara or leather trim, colors of your choice, LED display integration, upgraded paddle shifters, and customized airbag covers featuring logos or unique designs.
Q3. Do the steering wheels retain the vehicle's original functions?
By default, certain OEM functions such as steering wheel heating are not retained. However, many factory functions can be retained upon request. If you’d like to keep features like heating, driver assistance buttons, or paddle controls, please email us before ordering at sales@miamicarbondesigns.com so we can confirm compatibility and configure your build correctly.
Q4. How long does it take to manufacture and deliver a custom steering wheel?
Manufacturing time varies between 3 and 8 weeks, depending on the design complexity and material availability. Once completed, we will notify you to arrange shipping.
Q4. Do you offer installation or just the steering wheel?
We currently sell steering wheels as ready-to-install parts. We recommend that installation be performed by a specialized workshop or certified technician, especially due to safety concerns related to the airbag system. If you are local to us, we also offer installation, please contact us to get a quote.
