I’m Alex Del Corral, founder of Miami Carbon Designs. I’ve spent my whole life around cars and competition, and this company is what happens when you refuse to let that go.
I was born in Memphis and raised in South Florida, where racing was a family tradition. My father spent his life racing Porsches, everything from 911s to track cars, at Sebring and Homestead. My grandfather was a classic drag racer running Tennessee and Arkansas through the ’70s. From the moment I could walk, cars were just how our family spent its weekends.
At five, my dad put me in a go-kart at Homestead and that was it. I raced karts every weekend for years. Later I became a professional tennis player, and even on the road I was building and modifying cars: Mustangs, Porsches, and now my own BMW M4, a McLaren GT, and our shop car, a BMW M8.
In 2024 I turned that into Miami Carbon Designs. It started as a small online store and grew fast once people saw the attention to detail. Today we run a full showroom and installation garage in Miami serving local and nationwide clients.
What makes us different is simple: we don’t just design and build high-end custom carbon fiber steering wheels, we install them ourselves. From the first consultation to the final torque, our customers get the same respect I grew up with in a family-run racing paddock. They’re not clients. They’re family.
